Shun Ken Onion 10" Carving Knife
Designed by cutlery expert Ken Onion, this Japanese-made knife is excellent for slicing meat, sandwiches, fruits and vegetables. The blade has a gentle upward arc for efficient cutting, while the angled handle and bolster provide optimal leverage and a secure grip. VG-10 "super steel" blade is clad on each side with 16 microthin layers of high-carbon steel, creating a variegated look reminiscent of a Damascus-style blade. Specially shaped handle increases control while decreasing fatigue. Handle is made from resin-infused PakkaWood for lasting moisture resistance. Handcrafted by Kershaw, premier cutlery makers for more than 90 years.

This is the carving/slicing knife for the rest of your life.
it fits in your hand like it was made for it, regardless of the size of your hand.
it is balanced and heavy enough for you to know you have a precision tool in your hand.
Sharp ? it is so sharp right out of the box that it makes you want to use it for everything. Just like the other Ken Onion Shun knives.
