Overpriced, short honing steel

Spend your money on a real sharpening stone, hopefully 1000 to 4000 grit. Then, buy a cheap honing steel for under 20 bucks. They are all really similar, however, this one is really short and expensive. It has a really nice handle. You could get a 12" or better at this price that will perform longer.

Excellent

This sharpener was excellent on first use. I was very pleased with how sharp our kitchen knives are now. My wife is impressed with the edge. Of course a level of skill is needed to use one properly.
