Shell-Shaped Candle
Our candle looks like a real object from the sea, bringing oceanside flair and a soft glow to summer gatherings. Paraffin wax is shaped in a hand-carved mold for lifelike texture, then hand painted with a whitewash glaze to create the realistically detailed finish. Place on a tray for burning in order to catch drips. Shell candle burn time: approx. 15 hours. Approx. 6" diam. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

NORMALLY I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH ORDERING FROM WS, BUT THIS CANDLE IS A DISASTER. DON'T BURN IT. WHEN IT BURNS THE COVERING (WHICH FEELS LIKE PLASTIC) FALLS OFF AND THE WAX OR WHATEVER IT'S MADE OF BURNS REDDISH BROWN, VERY UGLY! I GAVE IT AS A GIFT AND I WAS VERY EMBARASSED WHEN IT BURNED THIS UGLY, ALMOST BLOODLIKE COLOR. THE PERSON THAT RECEIVED IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT SHE BURNED IT, SHE WAS SAD THAT IT WAS SO UGLY. JUST BEING HONEST.
