Poor Quality & Design
January 9, 2012
I returned it after I washed it once before use. There were rust spots all over the item and black discoloration spots. Also, it you look inside the item is made of two pieces which all spice particles will become lodged in between the two pieces. I am very disappointed in W-S. I came to the store to purchase quality items. Their prices reflect quality. If W-S decides to re-design and use better SS, please consider a cap for the shaker. Thanks
Pros: Size
Cons: Quality, poor design

SEASONING SHAKER
May 7, 2011
Although this shaker is attractive to look at, I plan to return this to William Sonoma. In trying to clean it before adding my spice, I had to soak it, since there was black residue inside that I couldn't remove easily with a moist paper towel. When I took it out of the soaking water, there were stains on the top part of the container, not the sprinkler part, that i could not remove. This is NOT stainless steel, and i don't think it will stand up well without getting tarnished or pit marks. If that doesn't bother you, then go ahead and buy it, since it looks good. But, for me...no way. Stick with Stainless Steel. It's going back!!!
Cons: Quality, pitting
