It's a super automatic that makes a quality espresso with a nice crema. It’s good coffee without a lot of fuss every morning. If you want to roll out of bed, push a button and get a very nice cappuccino every morning, ever time, then this is it. I use good quality beans and it’s tweaked to suit me perfectly. Life is good. I considered a similar Jura, but Saeco had a larger water reservoir and is front filled so you don't have to pull it away from the wall. The grounds also empty from the front. There is adjustments for grind and brew temperature. Set to high temperature and it's good and hot. It's fairly easy to clean. I descaled it after 3 months and I rinse out the brew unit about once a week. I clean the frother whenever I refill the carafe. The machine rinses itself before and after brewing and shuts itself off. It tells you if it needs something filled or cleaned. It’s the best bang for the buck in super automatics and I actually miss it when I’m on vacation.

If you are a discrimination coffee drinker look elsewhere. This trades brew qualtiy for convenience.
The espresso brew temperature is never hot enough. Making cappuccino is easy, but clean up is a pain. You cannot, as the sales person suggests, take the milk carafe from the fridge to the machine and expect anything more than lukewarm results. For a proper beverage you must preheat the milk, negating any benefits of convenience.
The grinder is reasonable, but the hopper design does not allow the beans to fall into the grinder sometimes, resulting in a weak shot. I wanted to write a glowing review but the machine left me wanting. Nice idea, poorly executed.
Pros: Durable, Power, Quiet, Design, looks good, acceptable brew quality
Cons: Quality, Speed, Loud, High-Maintenance, price/value
