Rosle potato masher

Well-designed tool with nice weight to it. Pricy, but I did get mine during a promotion which was helpful. Potatoes mashed right in the pan in no time with great texture and creaminess, not stringy like they can be if you use a stand mixer. NOTE: there is NO integrated hanging ring as it says in the description (I wish there was). Only 4 stars for lack of hanging ring and the price which could be prohibitive to some. Even so, I'm glad I bought it!

Finally a comfortable potato masher. The price may put you off, but don't let it! Depending on your preference, lumpy or smooth, it does the job! Very sturdy and easily cleaned. A nice addition to your kitchen utensils.

Finally a Masher that Works!

I've been through a few mashers, and most of them are too lightweight to get the job done efficiently. The Rosle masher, however is both heavy and compact, so you can concentrate force in one place, and then move around the pot getting the job done quickly with as many lumps as you prefer. Better than a ricer or a food mill for potatoes when you want some texture. I also used it for a nice, textured guacamole. Also, it cleans up beautifully in the dishwasher.

The best potato masher ever! My potatoes come out smooth and fluffy I don't have have those lumps and I don't have to use the mixer anymore which saves time. Also this masher is great for mashing beans. It is well worth the money.
