White Wine-Braised Pork

A mixture of chopped parsley, minced garlic and lemon zest, known as gremolata, lends a sprightly finish to this tender slow-cooked pork. For a delicious accompaniment, serve our Summer Squash Gratin.

Good, But With a Caveat
January 19, 2014
First, this is really easy and inexpensive to make. It's good, but the pork is surprisingly simple in flavor despite the savory ingredients involved. When it is removed from the slow cooker, you get a good, but basic pork flavor.
If you want a more savory dish, you need to make the accompanying gremolata or use some of the juices to make a pan sauce.
Overall, an OK, basic, easy dish.
