Tomato Jam with Lemons

Sweet, sour, savory and spiced, this slow-cooked tomato jam was created by Moroccan-born chef Mourad Lahlou. It's a versatile condiment-serve on crostini spread with fresh goat cheese, as in this recipe, or use as a sandwich spread. The jam is also excellent with grilled or roasted lamb, egg dishes, potatoes, rice and couscous.

Absolutely delicious!

This is an amazing recipe! The flavors all blended so well together! Goes exceptionally well with a good Cabernet!
I did add a can of tomato paste, as it was not reducing as expected, as well as a small can of diced jalapenos. This really added a spicy (not hot and not uncomfortable flavor) to the jam. Sweet, savory with a little kick! Absolutely love it!
Pros: Easy, Appearance, Adaptable, Will Make Again, unique blend of flavors

I have made several different recipes for tomato jam and love them all but this one stands out. It is delicious. The lemon makes the difference. I highly recommend it. A wonderful condiment that goes well with practically everything, meat, fish, sandwiches, eggs, you name it.
