Three-Cheese Filo Triangles

Filo is a paper-thin pastry of Greek origin, similar to other pastries used throughout the eastern Mediterranean. It is available in the freezer section of many well-stocked food stores and in Greek and Middle Eastern markets. Most 1-lb. boxes contain about 20 sheets, each one measuring 14 by 18 inches. For best results, let the pastry thaw very slowly, in the refrigerator if time allows. When working with filo, be sure to keep the unused sheets covered with a barely damp kitchen towel to prevent them from drying out and becoming brittle.

Crowd pleaser
December 22, 2011
This is one of the most requested appetizer from family and friends on any occassion.
They freeze well and they're super easy, though a bit time consuming to wrap the very delicate phyllo pastries. This is pretty much a no fail-crowd pleasing recipe. You must give it a try!
Pros: Easy, Appearance, Will Make Again
Cons: Lengthy

Fabulous Appetizer but VERY Labor Intesive!
December 6, 2010
This is by far one of my favorite appetizers to make. It is just plain delish. However, it is quite labor intensive, but definitely worth the effort. Wouldn't recommend if you need to come up with something "quick and easy"...but a must try!

Delicious & impressive
May 10, 2010
This was such a hit for my in-law's 50th anniversary cocktail party. They were easy to prepare in advance, freeze and bake just before the party. They look like I spent a great deal of time on them, but I really didn't.
If you're looking for a great appetizer that'll impress your friends, you should defintely try this!
