Great recipe "but"

I agree with everything in the recipe except, I was taught that you only turn the steaks 1 time. 2 minutes, rotate 90 degree, flip over and do the same for med. To med-rare depending on thickness and grill temp. More than that toughens the meat. Tasted excellent! Loved the marinade. Be sure and let it rest for at least the 5 minutes.

This recipe was the bomb! The only thing I would like to add to this recipe is do your best to make this marinade well in advance and let the meat sit at room temperature in a sealed (plastic) container for as long as you can on the day you plan to cook on the grill. This is restaurant quality steak and we impressed the heck out of our guest!

The onion jam is perfect with this steak. It's great the next day as a sandwich with thinly sliced cold steak, that is if you have any leftover.
