Tarte Tatin
Tarte tatin, the famous French upside-down apple tart, is baked with a pastry crust placed on top of a luscious caramelized-apple filling, then inverted after baking. It is especially delicious served with scoops of salted caramel ice cream (see related recipe at right).

elegant yet rich taste

A french classic. Simple yet rich taste. Recipe can be made in 4-5 individual tarts as well.

This Tart was very good and not difficult to make. It's a great way to enjoy apples not only in the fall, but all year round.
I would recommend trying this recipe, it will become one of my "apple" go to recipes for the future.
