I had to search for Savoy Cabbage but it was well worth it. The first time I made this I followed the recipe to a tee. I enjoyed it. The second time I used applewood smoked bacon. I added thinly sliced leeks and diced mushrooms just before I sautéed the cabbage. Then, after it came out of the oven, I added the browned butter and parmesan and placed the rolls in the broiler to let the parmesan melt and crust. WINNERS! Everyone (even the cabbage haters) loved the dish.

i really liked the idea of these because they are not boiled, are inventive,ie: seriously tweekable(even though recipie as is is the bomb), and except for the cabbage, most of us have everything else hanging around the kitchen any way. they are delightful. thankyou.
