Beat the confectioners' sugar mixture on medium speed for 2 minutes, reduce the speed to low, and add 4 oz. melted and cooled unsweetened chocolate. Beat until combined, then increase the speed to medium and beat for 1 minute more. Frost the cupcakes as instructed below.
