You'll see dishes such as this on the menus of some of the most innovative Southwestern restaurants around. You can also make the black bean salsa on its own to use as a topping for grilled or broiled fish fillets or chicken breasts.

A little dry and a little bland
September 3, 2010
Overall, this dish was only so so. The plus is that it is fairly easy to make -- once you have the sauce (which can be made ahead), but flavor was mediocre and it came out kind of dry. Probably not going to make this one again.

Very tasty

Very tasty recipe. Not too difficult to make. We used the leftover salsa for breakfast burritos and those were delicious too.
