Sauteed Brussels Sprouts with Olive Oil and Lemon Peel

When they are treated right, brussels sprouts are sweet and tender. One way to bring out the best in them is to cook them quickly, with nothing more than a little good olive oil, lemon and sea salt. Use the largest fry pan you have for this recipe so the brussels sprouts have room to move around and brown as they cook. They're delicious alongside pork tenderloin.

This is a good recipe. I do one I think is a little better but similar. It is suzanne Sommers recipe. She uses fresh lime juice instead of the lemon juice. It really adds a new dimension to this dish. I love the freshness of the lime and flavor is incredible with the sprouts. I also somtimes julianne the sprouts or quarter them, add just a little butter to the pan when cooking them. Again more flavor!
Pros: Quick, Easy, Healthy, Appearance, Adaptable, Impressive, Will Make Again
