Interesting taste

This risotto is certainly a different twist on the classic. The saffron imparts an aromatic, delicate flavor, that might seem a bit weird if you're not used to it. I think it's a good option for risotto!
I did alter the recipe a bit: I used vegetable broth instead of chicken and used half the butter, as the amount in the recipe appeared excessive.

Surprisingly disappointed

My family loves risotto and saffron but they refused to eat this. Perhaps I did something wrong but I've never had risotto turn out poorly and I've made it dozens of times in just the last year. I don't know why it didn't turn out which is perplexing.
