Rosemary and Parmesan Madeleines

As this recipe demonstrates, the feather-light French cakes known as madeleines can be savory as well as sweet. After baking, they're sprinkled with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and fleur de sel, one of the most prized sea salts in the world. This grayish-ivory salt from Brittany, France, highlights the natural flavors of foods and adds a pleasing crunch.

Quick, easy, different
August 3, 2012
These are very tasty!
Easy to make. I think they're good with breakfast (try two madeleines instead of toast) also good with dinner (awesome with a nice acidic salad.)
Going to make these for a barbeque this weekend, mmmm...
Pros: Quick, Will Make Again

Impressive Party Appetizer
March 28, 2011
These are so good! I made these over the holidays to take to a party. I had to make a second batch, I ate the first batch all by myself. They came out perfectly using the non-stick Madeleine pan. Great pan, I have used it for mini quiches, blueberry and bananna nut muffin recipes, and cookies.
Pros: Quick, Easy, Appearance, Impressive, Will Make Again

A twist on a favorite

These are fantastic. They are flavorful with almost a meaty-texture. Easy to make and definitely got a round of thumbs up from friends.
