Pistachio Cake

Sicily is known for its flavorful pistachios. Cooks use them to make gelato, biscotti and this orange-scented cake. Accompany each slice with a scoop of gelato alla crema (see recipe at left).

Came out dry
October 21, 2012
I made this for a dinner party and was pretty disappointed. It came out really dry. I must say that most of the recipes I try from the website have come out really well but not this one.

stays moist
March 20, 2011
I do want to say I work for Williams Sonoma. I was surprised how moist this cake is. It really holds up for several days. It comes out of the pan beautifully, and dusted with powdered sugar it's a very attractive dessert. This is definitely a keeper!
