Osso Buco with Mushrooms & Peas

To make the classic osso buco garnish known as gremolata, combine 1 Tbs. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, 1 Tbs. grated lemon zest and 1 garlic clove, finely minced. Scatter the gremolata over each serving. Osso buco is traditionally served with saffron risotto, but steamed rice or quick polenta are also excellent accompaniments.

Best Osso Bucco I have ever had
April 27, 2011
This recipe is amazing. If you don't like the overpowering tomato based osso bucco recipes, you must try this. It tastes like something from a fancy restaurant. I will make it for guests the next time. It was so easy and very impressive!
Pros: Quick, Easy, Impressive, Will Make Again

Rave Reviews

I've made this several times and always receive rave reviews. Expensive but worth it. Leftovers, if there are any, are even better.
