Awesome! Everyone LOVED them...
November 24, 2012
Made the recipe as directed. Yes, it was expensive ($20 for pumpkin butter + mix), but considering you pay $2-4 for a slice at a bakery, I thought it was acceptable. Used the middle rack in the oven and did not overbake. They do firm up a little after they cool, so don't worry when it's giggly in the middle. When you cut them, use a sharp knife and clean after each cut. Very sweet, but the slightly salty crust balances it out. Everyone LOVED them (except those who don't like gooey or pumpkin).
Pros: Easy, Will Make Again
Cons: lots of butter

great fall recipe
October 26, 2012
These bars were very easy to make and came out great. Be careful in the last couple of minutes in the oven, I almost over-cooked them. The bottom layer came out cookie like and was fantastic. I may in the future try adding ~3/4 of the amount of topping they reccommend.
Pros: Appearance, Impressive, Will Make Again

Great Treat

These are a great dessert for the holidays, especially with a scoop of ice cream. Your guest will rave. Follow the directions and don't overcook. They should be gooey.

Slight revisions
September 18, 2012
I followed the recipe except I only used 1/4 cup of confectioners sugar. I wanted to taste pumpkin, not go into sugar shock.
As eat the bars, I think the flavor needs some contrast. I will be adding about 1 tablespoon of lemon zest to the filling next time. I'll sprinkle some on the remaining bars to see how that goes.
Pros: Quick, Easy, Adaptable, Impressive, Will Make Again
Cons: Taste, Cost
