Mushroom Turnovers

A wonderful starter for a holiday gathering, these turnovers are filled with earthy cremini mushrooms, nutty Gruyere cheese and fresh herbs. They're easy to make with our filled pastry press. To speed preparation, use store-bought rather than homemade pastry.

Great recipe but I made it with puff pastry instead. Much better. Making again for a special dinner for 10 people.

Perfect appetizer

Very tasty and easy enough to make. Next time I'm thinking I could add some ground beef to it and do without the cream.
Goes really well with a glass of chenin blanc.
