Good concept - difficult execution

I was really excited when I saw this recipe but finished disappointed. The pork was good but the polenta doesn't remain a separate layer when you cut it. So you end up with a soupy mess instead of a pie. It was good to eat but fell short of my expectation.

You have to use the quick cook polenta and add less liquid than called for. I have the actual cook book and their is a tip about that on the side bar. I have made this at least a dozen times and it's never failed me. Also I leave it on the cook top until almost all of the liquid is gone, that helps too. Try it again these couple of tips won't leave you disappointed.
