Macaroni Salad
Our version of this all-American favorite is dressed with homemade mayonnaise seasoned with paprika and two kinds of mustard. Great for picnics and potlucks, macaroni salad also makes a wonderful accompaniment to our Grilled Pork Chops (see related recipe at left).

Great dish for outdoor entertaining

I made this dish the day before an outdoor party I hosted. I served it along with a potatoe salad and a cold couscous salad. The macaroni salad had great taste that got better the day of the party. It held well being outside in an iced bowl. I highly recommend this salad because it is easy to make a large quantity for a party and it can be made ahead of time.

I recommend it with modifications

I used 1 lb of shells, olive oil instead of canola, I used 1/4 of onion grated, I sauteed the rest of the onion and added it to the dish after the home made mayonnaise, and I added William Sonoma hickory smoke salt.
Then it was delicious!
