Glazed Doughnuts

Topped with a chocolate or vanilla glaze, these doughnuts make a comforting breakfast or afternoon snack. Be sure the oil reaches 350deg.F before you begin frying the doughnuts.

Light and Not too Sweet
August 15, 2010
I had tried several recipes for doughnuts, but they all seemed to come out very heavy. This recipe produces very light doughnuts that are not too sweet. Excellent recipe.

I gave Dunkin Donuts a run for their money!

These doughnuts come out soft and chewy and so delicious! I don't have a deep fryer so I just deep fried mine in about an inch and a half of vegetable oil at 300 degrees instead of 350..and they came out just as golden as the picture!
