Great Custard-y Ice Cream

If you like French vanilla ice cream as opposed to plain vanilla (or vanilla bean) ice cream, you'll love this recipe. With 6 egg yolks in it, it is a frozen custard with strawberries. Mine is A TON more yellow than the picture on-line. I love custards of any sort, so of course I love this recipe! What's not to love - a rich frozen custard with sweet, ripe strawberry chunks! But if you want something less custardy, I'd look for a different recipe.
