Fresh Mint-Chocolate Truffle Tart

Using strips of waxed paper or a stencil when dusting a pie or tart with confectioners' sugar or cocoa powder is a simple and elegant way to add a decorative finish. For rectangular tarts, cut strips of waxed paper. For round pies or tarts, use a precut cake stencil, or cut your own design out of card stock. Lay the strips or stencil over the pie or tart. Put about 1 Tbs. confectioners' sugar or cocoa powder in a fine-mesh sieve, then tap to sprinkle evenly. Lift off the strips or stencil, leaving the sugar or cocoa pattern behind.

This is what Christmas Tastes Like

Literally, Christmas/Winter in a tart pan! I made this last year for my Husband's Christmas party at work. I made a round one as I do not have a rectangular tart pan. It was utter deliciousness.It's absolutely better using real mint , amazing unlike artificial minty winter snacks. My husband is not typically a chocolate fan, but loves mint and we decided to try it. This year I find myself craving it and him asking for it. We've been married 2 years come January and this will be a tradition for us to make each year. A recipe that was so good it's remembered a year later! Thank you Williams Sonoma for giving us a recipe that has become our first family tradition!

The ganache and mint flavors are fantastic! The crust is lovely. Overall delicious.
