English Breakfast

This hearty breakfast is the vestige of the traditional morning meals that were served in grand English country houses during the Edwardian era. Here, the main course fry-up features bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes paired with buttered toast. Accompany with a pot of freshly brewed tea.

Outstanding Breakfast
December 10, 2010
My wife and I think this is one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The combination of baked cherry tomatoes and mushrooms with sunny-side up eggs is really tasty. I substituted our favorite toast for the batard and used chopped fresh spinach as the garnish in place of parsley.

I am English and have millions of times had a English Breakfast. You forgot the Black Pudding for one, your fry the tomatoes and it shouldn't be buttered toast it should be fried bread. I lived in England for 38years and was norn to my English parents who lived there and continue to live there, all their life.
