Dutch Baby with Apple & Cranberry Compote

Sometimes known as a German pancake, a Dutch baby is a cross between a souffle and an omelette. It is oven-baked in a hot fry pan rather than cooked on the stovetop. Here we embellish the Dutch baby with an apple-cranberry compote.

Dutch babies are a Sunday Morning tradition in this family.(I can make them with no recipe and no coffee yet.) This one disappeared before everyone got to the table. Just a yummy legend.
