Creamy Fish Chowder
To clean a leek efficiently, trim the root end, cut the leek to the desired length and then halve the leek lengthwise. Hold each half under cold running water, carefully pulling the layers open to wash away any dirt. Place in a colander or on a kitchen towel to drain briefly.

Quick Weekday Comfort Food

This quick and dirty chowder was a way to cook up some unused cod in my fridge and it was delicious! I also added some white onion and a clove of garlic. I can always depend on WS recipes to be simple yet refined.

easy soup recipe

easy to make, I used salted cod that I de salted overnight, which worked equally as well. smells really nice I'll need to double up next time
