In this refreshing chilled soup, faintly oniony chives and the light tang of both buttermilk and creme fraiche enhance fresh spring peas without overwhelming their delicate nature.

Just. Awful.

I have made many wonderful dishes using Williams Sonoma recipes. This was not one of them. It was painfully salty, and I am someone who loves salt. The texture was very unappealing. I don't think that lettuce was meant to be blended.
I am generally a very positive person and I am only posting this negative review to save someone the effort of shelling 2 lbs of peas and then having to pour the results down the drain. I do not recommend this recipe at all.
