Pretty but a bit dry

I've made this cake twice because it looks so cute but in spite of having put chocolate mousse and buttercream between the two halves, the cake is heavy and a bit on the dry side. All the butter in it makes it very filling too. So if you want to get lots of admiring remarks, go ahead and make the cake, but make sure it gets eaten the same day you make it while it's still somewhat moist.
Pros: Kid-Friendly, Appearance, Impressive
Cons: Taste, Unhealthy, dry

Fun for work!

This is a dense butter cake that tastes very good. Many people commented that they wanted filling! But all-in-all it was fun to make and it made a lot of people smile.
