Chicken Breasts with Kumquat-Honey Sauce

These chicken breasts are cooked using a technique known as short-braising, which relies on the same principles as longer braising. The meat is first seared to brown the exterior and then gently simmered in a small amount of liquid so it emerges tender and succulent.

Great do ahead Family Recipe
May 20, 2010
This is a great recipe that all members of the family will love. The kumquats can be substituted for oarnges and the barndy can be omitted although it adds great deapth of flavor. This has become a go to recipe for weekly meals for our family. Try it! You will love it!
