It Wouldn't Be Thanksgiving Without It

I have made this soup every Thanksgiving for the past 7 years. My daughter and my BFF and her family expect it with our holiday meal every year. We also make it other times of the year as well, but it is a staple on Thanksgiving. My daughter is currently overseas, I had to ship her chestnuts and the recipe so she could make it over there.

Perfect winter holiday soup

I have made this on Thanksgiving and Christmas for many years. People love it so much. It can be a little much to have a full bowl, especially on a big food day, so I like to serve in double espresso cups with the cream on top (sometimes while we are waiting for dinner when people get hungry). People love the presentation and it gets the taste buds going.
It is easy but never try to use your own chestnuts. Buy them already shelled and prepared.
I hate giving out my secrets but it is worth trying.

I love almost anything chestnut; so I decided to try making this soup for Thanksgiving one year. The recipe was easy to follow and it brought out the flavor of the chestnuts. Give this one a try!
