Chapati
Chapati is an unleavened pancakelike bread from India. Often diners tear off pieces and use them to scoop up food. Serve these chapati alongside our Chicken Madras Curry (see related recipe at right).

Quick, Easy and Tasty

Simple recipe, few ingredients and easy dough to work with. I did not use ghee, but used unsalted butter. For the final heating , to puff up the chapati, I simply heated a flat skillet, placed them on it and they puffed beautifully.
They looked as good as they tasted!
