Best Cookie Ever

I use this recipe every time I want to make decorated cookies. The cardamom is a nice taste surprise. People love it, but can never quite guess what the spice is. The dough rolls nicely and never bubbles the way a lot of sugar cookies do.

this is my favorite cookie to make as well as give--in fact when i make them i usually make a double batch!
the flavor-consistency are perfect!
they can be enjoyed with/without frosting-the cookies turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary day!
