Buttermilk-Cornmeal Fried Chicken

Ask Southerners to name their favorite dish and the answer is inevitably fried chicken. There are probably as many recipes for this Southern specialty as there are folks to enjoy it. My version uses buttermilk and Tabasco to tenderize and flavor the chicken, and cornmeal for a crisp crust.

Lacked Flavor/Crust Fell Off

No taste. For 2 cups of coating, there is not enough salt, onion and garlic. Very bland.
The crust did not stick very well and we followed all the instructions.
Probably would not make this recipe again. I can adjust the seasonings, but that won't help the problem with the crust.
