I made this for Thanksgiving dinner, and it was soo great! Tasty, easy, will definitely make again! The chives added something more than just plain mash potatoes.

These mashed potatoes will accent any meal. The acidity from the buttermilk adds contrast not given from traditional mashed potatoes.

Wonderful for Thanksgiving

We made this recipe this year for Thaksgiving. It turned out quite delicious and was a great accompaniment to the rest of the meal. I did however, have problems with the buttermilk separating as soon as I heated it up. And the mashed potatoes showed the white specs of buttermilk. It tasted delicious nevertheless.
