Paired with crispy corn fritters, these hearty short ribs make a satisfying meal. The meat becomes meltingly tender after long, slow braising in a slow cooker.

This is a fabulous dish. We have made it several times. The sauce is amazing and the meat is perfect. It is relatively easy to make. This will be a regular on our menu.

Great time-saving home cooked meal
April 30, 2010
This is a great slow cooker recipe. The meat is tender, juicy and fall off the bone. Most importantly, you can set it and forget it in your crock pot. It is great when you are entertaining and want to be out and do things during the day. An elegant main dish awaits you when you return. There is a nice little pepper kick to it - great!
