Bone-in Rib-Eye Steaks

These steaks are prepared simply to showcase their natural beefy flavor. For the ultimate side, serve our Craftsteak Spinach Gratin (see related recipe at left).

Spectacular way to make steak!
June 27, 2011
This was the first time I read a recipe where one basted a steak with butter....I just had to try it for myself.
This steak was absolutely delicious!!! My guests were blown away and I even surprised myself. I used a pan I bought from W/S last year, and it worked so well with this recipe.
The best part is that it was very easy to do. I will be making this again and again and again! Thanks so much!
Pros: Quick, Easy, Impressive, Will Make Again

Excellent Steak House Flavor at Home!
February 21, 2011
Made these the other night after I saw my husband drooling over the newest Williams Sonoma catalog that arrived! I decided to make them along with the Craftsteak spinach gratin and the CUT Steakhouse macaroni and cheese recipes! These steaks were excellent! I had never basted steaks on the stove top with butter and thyme before, and this process really made for a tender and flavorful steak! These were so good that we didn't really need any sauteed mushrooms or onions to go with them!
