I tried making this a few years back and gave it as a gift. It came out looking like the picture. It also taste really good.

Why my cake didn't look like the picture?

The taste of the cake is fabulous but the cake didn't rise as in the picture, plus, it didn't look as tick as in the picture.

A Delightful French Cake for Company

The cake is moist yet has a nice crispy edge. It is not too sweet and has very little flour in it. The delicious whipped cream topping makes it a yummy sweet treat. It is a world class tasting cake that you might get in a french restaurant.
