Apple Toddy

This French take on the Hot Toddy uses Calvados or applejack and apple syrup, giving the drink a much sweeter scent and flavor. When buying apple syrup, look for the Austrian brand DArbo. This company produces some of the best, most intense fruit syrups on the market.

For the perfect temperature I used the Breville Electric Milk Frother to heat the apple juice to 150 degrees. The Frother allows one to heat to the perfect serving temperature.
Since I didn't have apple syrup, I used organic apple juice (365 Brand). Guests hadn't tried the AppleJack before, and they loved it and this drink. Several guests added fresh whip cream and a cinammon stick.
I used the ISI Gourmet Whip which I had received as a Christmas gift, so guests were trying it on everything, including the apple toddy drink.
Delicious Drink!
