Apple Oven Pancake

Preheating the baking dish before adding the fruit and batter gives the pancake a head start, so that once it is in the oven it billows like a popover. Anjou or Red Bartlett pears can be substituted for the apples.

Great Breakfast!

I made this delicious pancake in my All Clad 10" french pan. The recipe is easy, and comes out perfect each time. I placed the pan in the cold oven and let it heat up so that it was nice and hot. I did not make any changes to the recipe and have passed it along to friends. It's great for a weekday, and company will love it.
