Sirloin is an outstanding beef cut for kabobs. Use red-skinned or Yukon Gold potatoes or a combination for a particularly attractive presentation. Mushrooms or parboiled carrot chunks would be good additions to the skewers.

I loved the Marinade!

We cooked it first covered in tin foil on the grill. To lock in the flavor and be sure it fully cooked without burning. Then uncovered to lightly grill. Perfect! We like a lot of flavor so I think I will attempt to add a little more of tomato sauce and spices next time. :)

While I enjoyed the flavoring of this marinade, the beef turned out a little tough. Even cooked it rare. Any recommendations on how to keep these skewer tender?
