They arrive ready to pop in the oven and emerge fragrant, flaky and warm. Hot chocolate: A rich, silky beverage made from rich Callebaut dark chocolate, fresh cream and milk with a touch of vanilla. Simply heat and serve. Cranberry Walnut Scones: Light and flaky, chock full of cranberries and California walnuts. Currant Scones: Flavored with a touch of Nielsen-Massey vanilla bean paste and plump dried currants. Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Scones: Laced with cinnamon and Ghirardelli semisweet chocolate chips. Blueberry Scones: Extra-light, thanks to the addition of cream, and dotted with juicy blueberries. Being a baker myself I'm highly critical of other cook,chefs, or just about anyone preparing food that I'm going to eat.So now that you know that maybe you'd be surprised and delighted that these really
had me swooning after the first bite.The scones which as anyone knows that has eaten them before are so good we should give them a new name.They were tender to the tooth and packed with fresh flavor.The hot chocolate was nothing short of fantastic.I made it last by mixing with milk,but really had trouble keeping my spoon out of that jar,it's THAT tasty.
I'm impressed.

Good, but pricey.

I enjoy them, but for $70 wish I could pick the scone flavor I like most. Haven't tried the hot coco, so this was really pricing for 8 large scones. I would prefer the option William Sonoma had about 1.5 years ago that you got 16 smaller scones for like $50.
Please offer scones only and pick your flavor, I like currant best. The others are good, but I would love more than two of my favorite....
Checked the source bakery website and didn't see any online to order there either.
Would I order again, yeah, but I would enjoy more choosing flavored and not getting the coco that I would use.
