THE perfect cake for all celebrations

I had the chance to taste this amazing cake a couple of months back when invited at a friend’s house, and I am still thinking about it! With the exception of high quality chocolate treats, my family is not very big on desserts so I always ask to be served the smallest slice not to offend the hostess. In this case, well, we had to ask for seconds. This is an absolutely lovely cake, not overpoweringly sweet. The lemon taste is at once subtle and deep, and the texture is dense the way Spanish or Italian cakes are: satisfying to the tooth yet light and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Both kids and adults enjoyed this is a lot and I would recommend it for the hostess looking for a sophisticated yet accessible crowd pleasing treat.
