Tasted chemically

I like classic black pepper, earthy white pepper, and pink peppercorns because they have floral notes. This pepper had a weird chemical taste. It was very wet making it so it would not grind but rather mash and get sticky. I tried to toast is gently but it did not improve the flavor and only made it very flaky. WS had great service and made sure I was happy in the end.
