Pillivuyt Queen Anne Porcelain Dinner Plates, Set of 4

With its gently scalloped festonne rims, this porcelain dinnerware revives the elegant simplicity of a French classic. The pure white glaze complements food beautifully and suits casual as well as formal dining. The collection is made in France by Pillivuyt, a company respected for fine tableware since 1818. Microwavable and dishwasher safe. 11 1/2" dinner plate, set of four. A Willliams-Sonoma exclusive.

Purchasing individual plates
December 13, 2011
Although I think the QueenAnn puts out good dinnerware I was very disappointed to discover today that I cannot purchase 2 more dinner plates. I have a full set - 10 plates. I purchased 4 at one time, 4 at another and then 2 last year. When I went in the store today they told me I had to purchase a set of 4! I don't need 4 more. I only need 2. Therefore, I didn't purchase any.
Also, I noticed that there are knife marks left on the dinner plates when one cuts their food. With strong porcelain, this shouldn't happen.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Size, Strength, Versatile, Design

I'm considering these plates and was able to buy just one dinner plate and one salad plate today. I'm not sure where they told you that, but my local store would sell individual pieces.
Also, I was told the gray marks left by silverware can be taken off with their BarWare product (I think that's what they called it).
