Pecan Pumpkin Butter
Ripe pumpkin, premium pecans and classic spices give this spread its prize-winning flavor. The recipe originated at Muirhead, a family-owned restaurant in rural New Jersey that grew into a leading producer of specialty foods. In fact, the third generation of the Simpson family still produces this favorite treat with old-fashioned care. Spoon the butter onto quick breads, ebelskiver pancakes or muffins, or blend it with eggs and cream for a luscious pumpkin-pie filling (recipe included). 13.5 oz. (makes one 9" pie). Made in USA.

We bought the pecan pumpkin spice bread mix and added this as a topping! OMG! So good! Reminds me of a very delicious apple butter! Going to try it on warm biscuits next! I wish I could buy this year round! Makes me long for Fall and I usually hate the long dark days of Fall!

I ordered the Pecan Pumpkin Butter to try it out since I love Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Pumpkin Bread... Etc. WOW! I was amazed how wonderfully yummy the Pecan Pumpkin Butter is! My children love it and my 2 grandchildren do as well. Would be nice if the 2 Quantity was still available or it was available in a larger size option, but I'm just thankful the single jars are not sold out. It's is a delicious delight and am giving a couple of jars for gifts.

Great topping for quick breads or toast.

I buy gobs of these every year. If you haven't tried using this with Williams Sonoma's Pumkin Butter Squares Recipe (recipe is available in stores during the holidays), well then you have something to look forward to! I'm always asked for the recipe. Put this pumpkin butter and the other ingredients in a package with the recipe for the squares and you have a thoughtful, wonderful gift for someone special!!

We (especially my husband) love the pumpkin butter..so much so we buy a dozen to last till next year. Great on muffins, waffles and pancakes as well as thinned for a pasta sauce

Need 2 jars for WS recipe

The William Sonoma Bourbon Pecan Pumpkin Pie recipe says that it needs 1 1/3 jars. As a practice run for Thanksgiving dinner, I just made one with the Emile Henry pie dish which I purchased just for this purpose. I ended up needing close to 2 jars for one pie. Now I'm in trouble cause I bought 3 jars and WS is backordered. Ugh!
PS: The pie came out just like in the WS pictures. It looks fantastic and tastes great. This is another WS winner. Too much bourbon for kids, though.

I love this stuff. It's perfect on a roll or bagel. Bought some for Thanksgiving 2010. I went back a few days later b/c I thought it would be great for Christmas gift baskets. Alas, they were all gone. Definitely picking up a few this time around!

This pumpkin butter is SO GOOD!! I ordered some last year, when it was on sale. Just spread it on pumpkin bread or your other quick breads, to make it a treat like none other. I am going to order some at the regular price, because I do not want to let it get away; it's worth every penny.

This pecan pumpkin butter is delicious!!! I was adventurous and lined it inside of my pumpkin roll along with the cream cheese filling. Talk about amazing!!!

I had a sample of this at the Williams-Sonoma store and had to purchase 5 jars to last the holiday season, plus some to give away as gifts. Just eat with a spoon!

I first tasted this in the store. Had to buy it! Made the pumpkin bars. Everyone raved over them when I took them in to work. Even ordered more off the Williams & Sonoma website for other people who wanted to try it. Then I used it in my Christmas Pumpkin Log and also did the Muirhead Pumpkin Pie.. Next I am going to use it in my pumpkin cheesecake. This is the best stuff ever!! Thank you

I have been using this product for several years now. I use it when baking cup cakes and loaf cakes, sometimes as a topping and sometimes layered in the center for a tasty surprise. I have used it when making ebelskivers, waffles, pancakes and even in a turkey Panini, yumm. It tastes great on just about anything any time of the year. Use your imagination and you will be in for a great treat.
