Maybe it's just me

But it seems to me that when I buy a pie crust mix, it should have a basic recipe somewhere on the box. I understand that all I have to do is add butter and water, but what measurement is the question. The mix comes in two small pouches, there are no instructions on the outside of the box, on the inside of the box or even on the pouches. I have yet to try making this because a) It is currently 97 in Southern California and that is not conducive to pie baking. And b) Most Importantly, this doesn't have a recipe attached to it. Even store bought cake mixes tell you how many eggs and how much oil they recommend. I have never bought a mix before that didn't have that. Even the pecan pie in a jar tells you how many eggs it needs. I am severely disappointed.
