Excellent Flavor

I've only tried the sausage flavor so far, but I was incredibly impressed with it; it has a real depth of flavor, and really does have sausage in it, not just sausage flavoring. I've tried many gourmet bottled pasta sauces, and this is the best I've had so far. In the future I would actually buy some gourmet sausage and make the sauce a bit more meaty, at least some of the time, but this sauce is great even without that.
And, by the way, we were taught a trick in a cooking class in Italy years ago which worked well with this sauce; do not cook the pasta until al dente in the water; when it is about 3/4 done, add the pasta into the warmed sauce and finish cooking it in the sauce. This pasta is permeated with the sauce rather than having it sit on the outside. (Add some water +/or olive oil to the sauce to allow for the simmering time.)

Have been using this sauce for a couple of years, & it's my favorite, great taste, & a lot less work than making it myself.
Usually by it in the store, but Stonestown no longer carries it, so ordered on line.

This white creamy Carbonara sauce was excellent! I purchased it yesterday and it is delicious. Wow!! The flavor is perfect and highly worth the $16.95. Perfect over penne pasta with some freshly ground pepper and some parmesan.

The Rustic Vegetable Past Sauce is one of the vest sauces that W-S produces. Delicious on its own, add some sauteed chicken and you have a wonderful meal. I could not make a sauce as good as this. I imagine it would be wonderful with Italian sausage too.

I prepared the W-S slow cooker lasagna recipe, using this sauce. The taste was excellent and my company certainly enjoyed the meal. Would definitely use it again. (Tomato Basil Sauce)-

Bolognese Sauce

Had hight hopes for this sauce. When I opened the jar the aroma was nice but looking at it, it looked like pureed baby food with an island of oil floating on top. I am kind of at a a loss as to how to describe it. It was thick/thin/watery/oily/pureed all at the same time. Also, it didn't have much taste and bland. Unfortunately, I won't be buying again.

This has always been my favorite pasta sauce hands down. Even my 10 month old loves it, he puts it on EVERYTHING! Please bring it back and discontinue the other ones, they are watery and not very flavorful!

I bought the Catalan Red Pepper pasta sauce thinking it would be up to the usual excellent standard of the other sauces I've tried. Not so. This sauce was a big disappointment.

I had very high hopes for this product given the WS name AND price tag. I've had amatraciana sauce before and love it, espcially the smoky flavors of pancetta and bacon. When I first opened the jar it looked very thin which surprised me and smelled like hotdogs. Then I tasted it and the usually tasty flavors of the pancetta etc tasted only like hotdogs. I didn't mention anything when I served it and the first comment out of my husbands mouth was "why does this smell like hotdogs". Very disappointed. I also had 1/2 jar left and threw it out which is a shame given that it was almost $9 worth in the garbage.
It also had 11 g fat per serving, which I thought was high.
